Welding Tractors

Internal Line-Up Clamps

To ensure the highest quality of welding, Maats can supply you with internal line-up clamps. The internal line-up clamps can be powered by the welding tractor. Alternatively, air compressors for supplying compressed air are available at Maats as well. The internal line-up clamps will be delivered including the necessary hoses and reach rods.

External Line-Up Clamps

External clamps come in several variants, including hydraulic, ratchet-operated, and manual types, depending on the mechanism used to tighten and align the clamp. They are applied on the outside of steel pipes to align the pipe ends precisely before welding, ensuring correct positioning, roundness, and minimizing gaps or misalignment at the weld joint. External clamps are especially useful when internal access is restricted or when using internal alignment tools is impractical.

Compressor Sets

A compressor set plays a crucial role in the pipe bending process by supplying the compressed air required to operate the hydraulic systems and mandrel inside the pipe. Proper air pressure is essential for both safety and precision during bending operations.
